Welcome to the 4th Mediterranean Poultry Summit.
Beirut 02-05 September 2014

On Behalf of the WPSA Lebanese Branch I would like to welcome you to the 4th Mediterranean Poultry Summit (MPS). This conference will be held September 2-5, 2014, on the campus of the American University of Beirut (AUB), the oldest private university in the Near East region. AUB was established in 1866 and is located on the most beautiful coastal area at the tip of the city of Beirut.
The campus covers 65 acres of gardens, 19th century buildings and wooded areas. It has a rich collection of flowers, shrubs and trees which make it the most beautiful campus in the region. Surrounding the campus is a wide range of hotels and shopping districts, all within a walking distance of the conference center. Lebanon is rich with historical sites and blessed with natural beauty and fair weather all year round. Early September is ideal for enjoying the many beaches and  cool mountain areas.
The WPSA-Lebanon branch was established in 1963 and has members from all sectors; academia, industry and the public domain. The organizing and scientific committees have started working on a very impressive program both from a scientific as well as social aspect. The MPS conferences were initiated in 2008 and have served and continue to serve the objectives of getting together poultry scientists and industry people from Europe, Asia and Africa. We hope that this 4th Summit will continue this tradition and will attract more people from all over the globe. We look forward to seeing you in Beirut in 2014.
